Here you can find bunch of reviews, press cuttings, testimonials and various comments about my music, songwriting and live performances...

Over the past year, I've sent out lots emails to various radio, blogs and magazines... basically to anyone who might like what I'm doing.

I'd like to thank everyone who has listened to my music, played it on their radio show or podcast, or come to a gig and found time to say something about it.

A special mention goes to Raquel Pinheiro of Mondo Bizarre Magazine who has featured my music a number of times on her blog and radio show. Also, Simon Godley of God is in the TV who has given me a write-up in several of his gig reviews and also sent me some great photos.

Since first seeing him in Leeds last October supporting Bernard Butler, his prodigious talent has developed even further. His songs are even stronger, his presence even greater. He is surely destined to go far.

I first heard about Ned when a friend sent over his music, suggesting him to support me for one of my shows. I was blown away by his music, the guitar playing, the melody choice and the songwriting in general I just thought was wonderful.

Seriously people, you need to go. Went to Leeds last night and it was brilliant. To be honest, the support, Ned Swarbrick, was worth the entry fee alone.

I became aware of Ned Swarbrick when Bernard Butler made a shout-out for support acts, and I liked Ned’s music. His EP has been a constant since.

Here’s a young songwriter who believes in himself, also his music was very impressive.

He’s a young fella from York who has already done more than a great number of artists twice his age.

I think if you listen, you’ll all agree he truly does have a voice and songwriting ability that is just far, far, beyond his years.

At just 16, it's understandable that York-based songwriter is still finding his voice - one that trades the swagger of indie rock for the intimacy of acoustic storytelling.

Duncan Haskell
Songwriting Magazine

Despite still being at the age where he's not legally allowed to vote, Ned Swarbrick is some sort of veteran of the York music scene.

YoYo Magazine

We love spotlighting new talent on this show, so world meet Ned Swarbrick...and Ned Swarbrick meet the world!

Tom Brosseau

The teenager from York displayed a maturity in his songwriting and the charming confidence of his delivery that belied his tender years.

Certainly doesn't sound like a 16 year old...there you go, lovely stuff

Andy Inns
Black Dog Radio

It was a little bit special last week, with a couple of personal faves ..., both on the bill alongside a sublimely talented 16 year old in Ned Swarbrick from York.
